Covergirl Full Lash Bloom Mascara Review

A while ago it was a hot day, I had a headache from the humidity, and my mascara had ran out. So as Walmart is a right of passage for anyone venturing across the pond, I found myself faced with 3284 types of mascara from brands I'd only heard whispers about on youtube. Rather than spend ages pawing over the types of brushes and what they claimed to do it was a grab and run situation, and it wasn't until I got home that I realised I'd gone for waterproof. Rookie.

So I'd picked Covergirl's Full Lash Bloom mascara under the assumption that it'd give me, well, full lashes. It didn't.

I've just google imaged it and now there's loads of pictures of girls with amazing lashes staring at me, so maybe it's all in the application. But here's what I've found:

1. It starts of really thin and you need a tonne of coats to notice a difference.
2. After a week or so the consistency turns to gloop. I could take a photo of the state of it now but it's pretty gross.
3. It smells weird. Like caramel but not.
4. The gloop mentioned in point 2 sticks to the brush and turns to clumps.

So overall, it's not great. Even the packaging is a bit shoddy. But at around £6 it's no huge loss to my savings and I'm probably just grumpy about anything eye related due to conjunctivitis. At least I can now be one of those youtube whisperers...
